Private Lessons during August ~ During Anny’s absence for the Gay Games, private lessons with Greg, Malcolm and Jei are available. If you need to make a booking, please email or call in advance – a one off lesson is encouraged if you want to brush up on technique or just practice with a pro... Also please note Wednesdays classes are cancelled in August due to Anny’s trip to Gay Games... Cancelled class dates are the: 4th, 11th, 18th of August for New Vogue Level 1 and Intermediate classes, sorry cats. All other classes will run as usual. Please note that classes will be back to normal after the 18th. Yay!! Last Saturday’s farewell and party night ~ Thanks to those who came along to support a great night. There was lots of dancing and plenty of cheering too from a very supportive crowd during the performances. Thanks to those who put on a show, you were all wonderful and very gutsy. And thanks to Moss for making a speech to the Gay Games team, you’re just so lovely... There’s plenty of room on the dance floor for a few more dancers to enjoy the benefits of having a dance, with very little instruction... it’s perfect to develop your confidence! Just remember to bring your sweat towels cats, it’s gonna get hot!! It’s fast and furious fun! We dance all of the 8 social dances twice; Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba & Jive. And Anny’s on hand to guide you, if any questions or issues arise. Matrix Guild Woman’s Ball Saturday 21st August at the Fitzroy Town Hall... It’s Soul Sister Swing and Anny – Mama Cat is the DJ for the night, please book in advance girls $50/$40, BYO food & drinks.
